Student Application, Summer 2027

Program commitment

Students commit to all Code2College terms through August 2028 to be eligible for internship opportunities. Our multi-term program builds the skills and knowledge you need to succeed.

Eligibility

• Open to students entering grades 9 to 12 during the 2027-28 school year.
• Age and grade level will be verified before admission.

Application tips

• Use a personal email address (@gmail, @yahoo, etc.), not a school email. It becomes your HireWheel login and your primary contact for the entire program.
• Make sure your email is professional. You may be asked to create a new one if it is inappropriate.
• Incorrect or inactive emails may result in missed communication and removal from the program.
• All times listed are Central Time.

Program expectations

• Students must attend all virtual courses and in-person workshops. Unexcused absences may lead to removal from the course or program.
• Code2College does not provide devices. Students may use school-issued laptops or devices available at home, school, or public libraries.

• Applications must be completed by the student applying or reapplying to Code2College.
• The Internships Program includes a summer component and requires full summer availability.
• All summer internships are paid and only open to students legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Participation in Code2College does not guarantee an internship offer. The program is competitive and designed to help prepare students for these opportunities.
• All admissions decisions are final. Code2College reserves the right to deny or remove applicants at its discretion.
